Billing

• El Camino Pediatrics requests payment at the time services are rendered for all co-pays, deductibles and co-insurance.

• Services will be billed to those insurance plans for which our physicians are contracted preferred providers.

• Patients should be aware that it is to their benefit to assure that El Camino Pediatrics is paid correctly according to your particular plan benefits.
  
  
• Patients will receive bills after their insurance company has processed the claim or after 60 days if the insurance company has not responded.
  
  
• Patients receive bills only when money is due. The billing statement is laid out to reflect monies paid or adjusted for each date of service.
  
  
• Patient payments on our statements may be broken down into several different amounts to reflect the way that it was distributed to different dates of service.
